Marisa Zarczynski
The artist is a proud native New Yorker. She is a Creative Arts Therapist and Psychotherapist in a Brooklyn based Certified Private Practice. Recently Marisa has started designing limited edition clothing and products for sale.
Marisa has her B.A in Sociology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. and her M.P.S in Creative Arts Therapy & Creativity Development from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y.
More than just making art products for sale, the artist describes her artwork as a healing process. She considers art a means to explore the connection between mind and body that can be non-verbal.
Marisa has additional training from establishments such as LaGuardia High School for the Visual and Performing Arts, The International Center of Photography, The School of Visual Arts, The New School, Sheridan College in Canada, The Cooper-Hewitt, Cooper Union, The University of the West Indies: Trinidad & Tobago, Université de Rouen Normandie in France, LaGuardia Community College in Queens, and The Arts Student's League in Manhattan.
Marisa is a published author and artist available for exhibits and art related commissions. The artist is also open to and enjoys art and or academic collaborations.
